The Independent has been a part of the Grown and Sewn assortment for over a decade. It is a pant that is a favorite of many.
PROCESS
The Independent is sewn at a family owned factory in the heart of San Francisco. They have been crafting pants and jeans for over 40 years. Each garment moves through at least 10 hand operated sewing machines to create a special hand-crafted product. After the sewing is completed, the garments are sent to Los Angeles where the pants are washed with volcanic stones, enzymes and softners. This process adds softness and character; plus reduces shrinkage. The pants are then inspected to make sure each pair meets our standards. The Independent is now ready for you.
